Creative Design & Visual Communication Specialist
Make ideas impossible to ignore. Turn data and direction into visuals that move hearts, minds, and metrics.
About the Role
We’re looking for a versatile, left-brain/right-brain creative who can craft scroll-stopping visuals, conversion-focused campaigns, and beautifully clear instructional content. You’ll shape how our brand looks, feels, and performs across digital and print—partnering closely with Product, Marketing, and Growth to create work that is both stunning and measurably effective.
What You’ll Do
- Design high-impact social media creatives, banners, brochures, advertisements, infographics, and user manuals for multi-format delivery.
- Edit platform-native videos for YouTube, Instagram, and other channels with strong hooks, storyboarding, pacing, captions, and thumbnails.
- Create packaging-ready graphics, dielines, and visual systems for products, board games, and card games, including rulebooks and iconography.
- Collaborate with Product Engineering to design user flows, wireframes, and UI assets that elevate usability and brand coherence.
- Build and evolve brand guidelines, design systems, and reusable templates that enable speed without sacrificing quality.
- Iterate rapidly using insights from A/B tests, heatmaps, and analytics to improve click-through rate, conversion rate, and retention.
- Translate qualitative feedback and quantitative data into clear creative actions and measurable improvements.
- Manage end-to-end creative production cycles from brief to final delivery, ensuring on-time, on-brand, and on-point outcomes.
Skills You Bring
- Proficiency with desktop and cloud-based 2D design and video tools: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Canva, Figma, CorelDRAW, and similar. Experience with Movie Maker is welcome.
- Strong creative visualization and concepting; ability to turn abstract ideas into concrete visual narratives.
- Great communication and collaboration skills with comfort presenting work and defending creative rationale.
- Ability to interpret visual feedback and data with a growth mindset; you consider performance as part of the design.
- Understanding of conversion-oriented design, landing-page composition, and direct-response principles.
You’ll Thrive If You
- Love shipping and iterating; you test, learn, and refine without ego.
- Balance craft and outcomes; you care about both pixel perfection and performance.
- Are system-minded; you create scalable assets, libraries, and processes that speed up future work.
- Can switch contexts gracefully between motion, marketing, product UX, and print.
- Design: Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, CorelDRAW, Canva.
- Video: Premiere Pro; knowledge of After Effects or DaVinci Resolve is a plus.
- Workflow: FigJam or Miro for ideation, Notion or similar for documentation, any asset management tool you’re comfortable with.
- Analytics: Basic comfort with tools that surface engagement and conversion insights.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Own creative output across channels to support campaigns, product launches, and lifecycle marketing.
- Maintain visual consistency while tailoring assets to platform-specific best practices.
- Partner with Product to visualize flows, states, and empty/error screens that feel intentional and on-brand.
- Prepare production-ready files for print with correct color profiles, bleeds, dielines, and prepress requirements.
- Build and maintain a library of templates, iconography, motion presets, and visual guidelines for speed and consistency.
What Success Looks Like
- Increased conversion metrics across key funnels, including CTR, CVR, and session-to-signup or add-to-cart rates.
- Stronger customer growth supported by creative that communicates value clearly and persuasively.
- Reduced production time through scalable systems, templates, and documentation.
- Consistent brand expression across digital, motion, product UX, and print.
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Motion graphics, kinetic typography, and thumbnail optimization for YouTube.
- Basic UX writing for microcopy, tooltips, and onboarding flows.
- Accessibility-aware design sensibilities for color contrast and type legibility.
- Packaging compliance and production for board games, including component sheets and rulebook layout.
- Familiarity with A/B testing tools, heatmaps, or funnel analytics to inform creative decisions.
What You’ll Own
- The creative quality and performance of assets across paid, owned, and product channels.
- The conversion metrics of various channels and the creative levers to improve them.
- A growing, loyal customer base influenced by compelling, consistent, and trustworthy visuals.
Why This Role Matters
Every pixel you ship is a promise to our users. Your craft will shape first impressions, clarify complex ideas, and convert intent into action—elevating both brand love and business outcomes.
How to Apply
- Share your portfolio highlighting social creatives, motion/video edits, product/UI flows, and at least one print or packaging project.
- Include quick notes on goals, your approach, and results for any conversion-oriented work you’ve done.
Location and work setup can be flexible; we prioritize impact, ownership, and collaboration. If you’re a creative who loves the dance between beauty and performance, we’d love to meet you.
