We’re searching for an AI & Data Engineer who is, first and foremost, a creative builder and a visionary software engineer. This isn’t a role for a back-room theorist. We need a hands-on pioneer who is thrilled by the challenge of designing and shipping large-scale, real-world AI systems that merge the power of LLMs, intricate data engineering, and seamless product infrastructure.

If you’ve architected end-to-end pipelines, built sophisticated retrieval systems, or designed autonomous agents, and you’re hungry to push the boundaries of what AI can do at the scale of a metropolis, then this role is your playground.

What You Will Build: The Brains Behind the City

• Pioneer LLM-Powered Experiences: You will build, deploy, and scale our core LLM workflows, from fine-tuning bespoke models to optimizing inference for lightning-fast, real-world interactions.
• Architect Multilingual & Multimodal Systems: You’ll design intelligent systems that can understand and converse in the true diversity of India—spanning text, voice, and images to create truly inclusive technology.
• Master a New Generation of Search: Implement cutting-edge Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, leveraging state-of-the-art embeddings, hybrid search, and vector databases to deliver hyper-relevant discoveries.
• Breathe Life into Autonomous Agents: Design and orchestrate real-time AI agents that power everything from personalized recommendations and discovery to seamless, conversational transactions.

• Drive Intelligence Through Experimentation: Run sophisticated offline and online experiments to relentlessly improve the accuracy, reliability, and latency of our AI, ensuring it performs at massive scale.
• Forge the Tools of the Future: Develop internal AI tooling for best-in-class observability, evaluation, and safety, making our AI explainable, trustworthy, and citizen-first.

What You Bring to the Table: A Builder’s DNA

• Solid Foundations: A strong background in Computer Science, AI/ML, or a related discipline, demonstrated through a formal degree or equivalent real-world experience.
• Proven AI Craftsmanship: Hands-on, demonstrable experience shipping production-grade AI systems using modern libraries like PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain, and OpenAI APIs.
• Deep LLM Intuition: A profound understanding of Large Language Models, including the nuances of fine-tuning, complex inference patterns, and the art of prompt engineering.
• Architectural Acumen: Familiarity with the architecture of vector databases (like Pinecone, Weaviate, or Milvus) and sophisticated agent orchestration patterns.
• A Builder’s Mindset: You operate with a lean, fast, and hands-on approach. You are biased toward action and are obsessed with shipping solutions that not only work but scale beautifully.
